Exspatialis is a geographic information system for the surface of Mars — for site selection, terrain analysis, resource overlays and mission routing, through to master planning, power & resource estimation, and robot & construction scheduling. The problem it solves: Mars data is scattered — MOLA elevation, HiRISE imagery, GRS chemistry, radiation, thermal and water-ice datasets each sit in their own formats, projections and portals. Exspatialis brings that fragmented, raw NASA data into a single interactive globe where every visual and data layer shares one coordinate system, so imagery, terrain, resources and hazards line up exactly and can be sampled, queried and compared at any point on the surface. Instead of stitching sources together by hand, scientists, educators, architects, engineers, Mars enthusiasts and the next generation of space industry explore, analyse and plan on one shared, collaborative map.
